COCOA seeking Meals on Wheels volunteers

Central Oregon Council on Aging (COCOA) is recruiting volunteer drivers to deliver meals in the Bend-Tumalo area on a weekly basis.

Through the COCOA Meals on Wheels program, nutritious meals are delivered to individuals at home who are either home-bound or unable to purchase or prepare their own meals.

If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer experience, join this dynamic team of drivers and meet new people.

We also have a need for occasional kitchen help. Our volunteer coordinator can easily customize a schedule for you.

The commitments for our drivers vary from those who drive a route once or twice a week tothose who substitute on an “on call” basis filling in when needed.

After an application, interview, background check, and full training, volunteers can begin driving for Meals on Wheels.
