Warming up into the first half of the weekend in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Howdy all! We're looking at temperatures warming up as we head into the weekend, and Saturday is shaping up to be a pretty pleasant day across Central Oregon. But first, we're in for a lovely Friday, with highs climbing into the low 60s, before approaching 70 degrees on Saturday. We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies tomorrow, but overall, it'll be a great day to get outside and enjoy some of that warmer weather!

Our next weather system moves in Sunday, bringing a quick chance for a little moisture along with cooler temperatures. Rain chances are sitting around 20% for now, though much of that moisture could get absorbed by the mountains before making it into the High Desert. Still, a few communities could see a passing shower as we head throughout the day on Sunday.

As the next system moves in on Sunday, temperatures will drop back into the low 50s, putting us right around our average high of 54 degrees for this time of year. Looking ahead to next week, we'll warm back up into the low 60s as we head toward Veterans Day.

Enjoy the weekend, folks- well, Saturday in particular! It'll be our warmest and nicest day before cooler temperatures return Sunday. We'll keep tracking the latest right here on KTVZ.com!
