TCF (The Center Foundation) is pleased to announce the winners of the first annual Mr. Central Oregon high school pageant held at Bend Senior High School Auditorium on May 27th.

Josh Germain of Mt. View High School won the coveted Mr. Central Oregon crown and a $500 scholarship. Ridgeview High School senior Zach Dyck took second place and a $250 scholarship. Second runner up was Jaylin Robinson from Bend High School.

The TCF Student Advisory Council hosted the brand new event for Central Oregon called Mr. Central Oregon.

This fun and light-hearted competition brings together the winning high school senior boys from local high school pageants, such as Mr. Thunder, in a regional contest. Boys from six Central Oregon high schools participated in events such as talent, clothing styles, and jousting.

Funds raised from the new Mr. Central Oregon event will go toward sponsoring a $1,500 high school junior scholarship through TCF’s annual scholarship program.

The event was the brainchild of the Student Advisory Council, which is made up of past winners of the TCF scholarship program. The students state this is their way to ‘give back’ for all they have received.
