Bend natural gas project brings more street closures
The paving continues near downtown Bend this week, as Cascade Natural Gas crews continue the Bend Westside Replacement Project.
A paving crew will be starting on NW Jefferson Place, at the intersection with NW Delaware and work northeast most of the week. Both Delaware and Jefferson Place will remain closed to through traffic during paving operations between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
At the same time, another crew will be installing a new gas line across NW Bond Street at the intersection with the alley between Georgia and Florida avenues.
Aff ected streets will remain closed to through traffic from 7a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but will be open each evening. Residents are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid congestion.
