Local Alert Weather 0127 PM

KTVZ

Hello Central Oregon!

Started the day off with some snow on the roads in parts of the region. Once the sun rose and temperatures began to warm the snow quickly melted. A warm front is moving across the region today. Therefore, temperatures were about ten degrees above average in the lower 50’s. Winds were fairly gusty at times with winds up to about 20 miles an hour. Mt. Bachelor wasn’t able to open a lot of lifts today, because the winds were so gusty. Overnight winds should become fairly calm. Temperatures tonight will be warmer than usual in the upper 30’s.

Tomorrow temperatures will continue to be fairly mild in the mid 50’s. Skies will begin to break up as the storm moves well out of our region and an upper level ridge will build. This means we’ll have drier conditions just light clouds passing through our skies.

For the work week conditions will remain the same. Well above average in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s. All week there will be dry, stable conditions in our atmosphere.
