Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 5.2.18

KTVZ

Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
As a modest cell of high pressure builds in over the region we will see plenty of sunshine today. Today will also mark the beginning of a nice warming trend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s and northerly breezes will stay gentle at 5-10 mph. Skies will remain clear tonight. Lows will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s and northerly breezes will stay gentle at 5-10 mph.
Warm day and mild nights will stay with us right through the weekend and into next week. Daytime highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s and overnight lows will range throughout the 40’s. We do stand a slight chance of seeing some late day pop up thunderstorm activity Saturday with that chance extending into Saturday night and Sunday. The next storm system, however, is not expected to arrive the middle of next week.
