Sisters 4th Fest returns July 4 with free family-friendly events in downtown Sisters

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The 3rd annual Sisters 4th Fest, a free and family-friendly Independence Day celebration, will take place from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Village Green Park in downtown Sisters. The Rotary Club of Sisters and Citizens4Community are partnering to produce the locally oriented event, which was launched in 2024 to replace the Rumble on the Runway.

Activities throughout the day will suit all generations, beginning with the annual pancake breakfast hosted by the Sisters Rotary Club. Following breakfast, Run Sisters Run will present the Red, White & Blue 3-miler and the Lil' Firecracker Dash. Sisters Veterans will conduct the presentation of colors, while Blazin' Saddles will present the "Kids on Wheels" mini-parade.

Live music by Dry Canyon Stampede will be featured later in the morning, with a stage sponsorship provided by Corrie Lake & Debbi McCune Realtors. The 2nd Annual Pie-Eating Contest, presented by Sisters Bakery, will also take place. Participation in the pie-eating competition will be determined by an on-site lottery.

Throughout the celebration, Makin' It Local and High Desert Frameworks will make a Commemorative Poster presentation. Lawn games will be presented by Pretty Awesome Gamers. Sisters Fire Corps will offer fire truck tours across the street from the Village Green Park.

Thousands of local dollars continue to make the event available to the community.
