SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) – Deschutes County sheriff's deputies on Wednesday released the name of a 65-year-old Sisters man who was killed Tuesday night in the rollover crash of his pickup truck on Wilt Road northeast of Sisters.

Deputies responded around 8:25 p.m. to the reported single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Wilt Road and Hinkle Butte Road, Sergeant Chris Barringer said. Deputies were told a Dodge Ram pickup was resting on its side on the shoulder of Wilt Road.

Deputies arrived on scene and determined no other vehicles were involved. The driver, identified as Kevin Blake Gast, was alone in the pickup and was found to have died at the crash scene.

Wilt Road was temporarily closed for the crash investigation but reopened later Tuesday night, the sergeant said.

Black Butte Ranch police and Sisters Fire personnel also responded to the scene. Barringer said the sheriff’s office thanked them for their assistance.
