Ask the Mayor: Redmond’s Ed Fitch discusses speed enforcement, invites community to upcoming celebrations

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- From speeding concerns to xeriscape landscaping rebates, Mayor Ed Fitch answers viewer-submitted questions for this month's Ask the Mayor.

He also wanted to invited the community to the upcoming Community Block Party to celebrate America's 250th celebration and the annual 4th of July celebration:

Redmond transforms into a living tribute to the stars & stripes as history comes alive during the parade. The Mayor is encouraging everyone to participate, either as spectators or floats!  Get there early as this year's parade will have some pre-show entertainment for all ages.

Fireworks show starts as soon as it gets dark, produced at Deschutes Expo Center.  Remember not parking permitted at the Expo Center or along the adjacent roadways.
