Crook, Jefferson County judges join in Valentine’s Day ‘Cupid Dockets’ for special wedding ceremonies

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Inspired by Circuit Judge Raymond Crutchley’s announcement and Deschutes County’s Cupid Docket, Crook and Jefferson County Presiding Judge Annette Hillman has added Cupid Dockets on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14.
Crook and Jefferson County Circuit Court Judges will perform wedding ceremonies for couples wishing to marry on Valentine’s Day. All Circuit Court Judges will be performing wedding ceremonies in Jefferson and Crook County on our Cupid Dockets. Courtrooms will be in theme for the occasion.
Circuit Court Judges in the district regularly perform wedding ceremonies, with over 50 performed in 2024. Since this is a special day, they will be reserving an extra block of time in hopes of helping make this an extra special day for those wanting to get married.
As Judge Daina Vitolins said, “Our work mostly involves deciding cases where the parties are in conflict. Weddings join people together who are in love and are committed to each other, a positive and inspiring event!”
