Let’s Talk Weather: Central Christian School in Redmond

Our Chief Meteorologist John Carroll took a trip to Central Christian School in Redmond to speak with the 5th grade students about the weather.

The students were curious how meteorologists come up with the forecast and what it takes to get it correct. The students became "weather detectives" and looked for clues in the sky and at the surface to solve the mystery of the weather. Looking at clouds and winds and temperatures they came up with the forecast based on all the data available.

They were very curious about flash flooding, air pressure and its impact on animals as well as many other aspects about weather.
