Dreary with a shower or two on Election Day in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Howdy folks! Happy Monday, and happy day-before-Election Day! We're looking at mostly quiet weather across Central Oregon over the next few days, although a few showers are heading our way tonight. Most communities will stay dry, but a few sprinkles could make it to the surface overnight and linger into Tuesday morning. We could see a few isolated showers throughout the day Tuesday as well, though rain chances will be lower than tonight. Any rainfall will be very light, with accumulations starting at a trace to just a few hundredths of an inch.

Election Day is looking about the same temperature-wise to today, with highs reaching around 54 degrees. We'll continue to see temperatures climb a bit through midweek, with highs around 57 degrees Wednesday and Thursday. That's right around or just above our average high of 55 degrees for this time of year. So, if you're heading out to drop your ballot off tomorrow, expect a fairly pleasant day, with just a slight chance of a passing sprinkle.

Looking ahead, temperatures could warm even more by the weekend, potentially reaching into the 60s. That'll be a nice little warm-up for early November. Get out and enjoy the mild weather when you can, and be sure to check back with us later for the latest updates right here on KTVZ.com!
