No. 13 Notre Dame is 5-1 despite question marks on both sides of the line of scrimmage, and USC is playing for an interim coach. The winner gets possession of the jeweled shillelagh, which has been in Notre Dame’s possession since a 49-14 victory in South Bend during the 2017 season.
