New mural on Bend’s Third Street promotes reading
Children’s literacy nonprofit SMART Reading is joining forces with Mini Pet Mart, Inc. and muralist Addie Boswell to create a mural themed around the joy and power of reading. The aim of the mural is to raise visibility about the importance of early literacy, provide families with free literacy resources via a QR code, and beautify the intersection of NE Greenwood and Third Street.
