Friends of the Luau welcomes the community at Bend’s Rockridge Park for a feast and music

The fifth annual Friends of the Luau event took place Saturday at Rockridge Park in Bend. The event benefited Partners in Care and Hospice of Redmond Services. It was free to attend, with a suggested donation of $35. On the menu was tri-tip BBQ beef, pork fried rice, pasta salad, and more. The community enjoyed music, a live auction and raffle prizes. The event is hosted by the Richter family, honoring Laurel Richter, who passed away from breast cancer.
