BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Doug Sieckmann had his dashcam on as he headed west on Highway 58 over Willamette Pass when he saw two tall trees topple across the road Sunday afternoon.

They were two of many trees that fell across the region as heavy, wet snow - up to two feet in places - piled up quickly Sunday.

Sieckmann tells KTVZ News he was west of the Willamette Pass Ski Area but just before the Salt Creek Tunnel when it happened.

"ODOT was on site quickly to remove the trees," the Oregon City resident said.

ODOT said a 33-mile stretch of Highway 58 was closed from Oakridge to Crescent Lake for hours on Sunday due to downed trees, spoinouts and snowy conditions
