Quiet before a quick round of rain moves in tomorrow night in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Howdy folks, and happy Election Day! It's been a cool, mostly quiet and dreary day across Central Oregon, and we're in for more of the same tonight. You may run into a few sprinkles here and there, but nothing substantial is expected. We'll also see some fog developing overnight and into the early morning hours, so keep that in mind if you're heading to work or school tomorrow before 10 a.m..

We also have a chance for another batch of rain heading our way tomorrow night. This round looks to be a tad more widespread, with more communities likely picking up at least a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. Our next chance of rain arrives Wednesday night, mainly after dinner and into the overnight hours. The best timing looks to be around 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., so most of the rain should move through while we're sleeping.

On the temperature side of things, the good news is that we'll continue to warm over the next several days. We'll eventually make it back into the 60s, with Saturday looking especially warm- about 5 to 10 degrees above average. That warmth won't stick around forever, though, as temperatures are expected to cool back down again heading into next week. Enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts, folks, and we'll keep tracking the latest right here on KTVZ.com!
