Sunny start to the week ahead, before showers move through

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

Partly cloudy skies today, and we are set to stay dry heading into your Monday.

Overnight, we are looking at skies continuing to clear with calm winds and lows dipping down into the low to mid 20s.

Sunshine throughout the day on Monday, as highs are expected to be above average in the low to mid 40s.

Average for this time of year in Redmond is 41 for daytime highs, so we are continuing to see temperatures trending above average, and will through much of this week.

Tuesday will likely bring more clouds into the region, and by the overnight hours, we could be looking at chances for some rain showers to develop.

Those rain chances will stay with us through Thursday, with snow levels hovering around 4000 feet.

That means we likely won't see any snow here on the High Desert, but there is a good chance we could see some showers up at the pass levels.

By Saturday of next weekend, we could see those snow levels drop just a bit, and we could see some snow showers here across the region.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Central Oregon!
