A warmup is on the way

Forecast lows for Saturday night will be at or below freezing conditions for most of Central Oregon.

On Sunday, we'll have partly cloudy skies throughout the day, to go along with westerly winds mostly between 7-11 miles per hour, with some gusts reaching near 20 miles per hour.

Most of the region is expected to top out in the low to high 50s, putting us a few degrees below average.

Then by Monday, the warmup begins. We jump up to a forecast high of 68 on Monday, then we'll be in the 70s Tuesday through next Saturday, with the only exception coming on Wednesday, when we are expected to top out in the mid 60s.
