Clouds Increase Tonight Before a Slightly Cooler Sunday Across Central Oregon

KTVZ

If you have plans outside this evening, the weather is staying comfortable.

Temperatures will gradually cool after sunset, while more clouds move into Central Oregon overnight. Most communities across the Tri-Counties will wake up to mostly cloudy skies Sunday morning, with overnight lows settling into the lower to mid-50s.

Don’t let the clouds fool you, though.

They’ll gradually clear through the afternoon, allowing for a mix of sunshine and clouds by the end of the day. Even with some afternoon sunshine, Sunday’s highs should stay in the mid to upper 80s—just a little cooler than what we felt Saturday.

If you enjoy the slightly cooler weather, make the most of it.

Temperatures are expected to climb back into the lower 90s Monday before a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms returns Tuesday. Right now, the best chance for any rain looks to arrive Tuesday night.

Even with Sunday’s small break from the heat, Central Oregon remains dry, and fire danger continues. If you’re heading outdoors this weekend, avoid activities that could accidentally spark a wildfire.
