Warming up through Friday

KTVZ

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Wednesday everyone!

It will be another quiet day across the High Desert. Temperatures will gradually climb through Friday as a ridge of high pressure over the eastern Pacific moves into the region.

Expect partly cloudy to mostly clear skies today, with highs in the upper 60s.

Thursday brings plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures, with highs reaching the mid 70s. Warmer nights will also reduce the risk of frost and freezing conditions over the next few days.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 70s and a few low 80s. We will be around 15 degrees above normal that day!

Changes arrive this weekend as temperatures begin to cool.

Saturday’s highs will fall back into the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday will be a little cooler, with highs in the mid 60s and a slight chance of showers as the next system moves into the region.

The cooling trend continues Monday, with highs in the mid 50s and a chance of spotty showers. Another chance of rain and snow arrives Tuesday as highs dip into the low 50s.
