Junior Forecaster: Fifth-grader Hazel loves art – and hitting fresh powder on the slopes
Our latest Junior Forecaster, Hazel, is in fifth grade at Elk Meadow Elementary School and enjoys art. She is also very excited about the snow showers that have been falling and the ones that she forecasted for the next few days and into the weekend. She and her father love to go to Mt. Bachelor and snowboard. More than likely, this weekend will be one of the weekends they head to the slopes.
She also did the forecast on her grandmother's birthday, and we got to wish her a happy birthday on the air. Thanks, Hazel for helping with the weather forecast today!
