Showers likely, thunderstorms possible

If you like rain and thunderstorms, Wednesday will be another great weather day for you.

After rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday, those same conditions are sticking with us. Showers will likely hit the High Desert after 11 a.m. Wednesday, and will likely stick with us until at least Thursday evening.

On Wednesday, we could also see some thunderstorms as the system moves through, but those should be gone by Thursday morning.

Southwesterly winds will be calm Wednesday, at speeds between 8-11 miles per hour. Those winds should pick up Thursday, with some gusts hitting 20+ miles per hour.

Forecast highs for Central Oregon on Wednesday will be a few degrees below our seasonal average, ranging from the mid 50s to low 60s.

Our forecast lows, though, will be a bit warmer than usual, bottoming out in the high 30s and low 40s.
