ANOTHER WARM ONE

-GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

High pressure will dominate much of the western United States today. That will mean sunny skies and warm temperatures for the High Desert. Highs will be in the mid 80's and northerly breezes will be quite gentle at 5-10 mph. A few thin clouds will invade the region tonight and lows will be in the mid 40's to low 50's. Breezes will become light and variable after midnight.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with highs reaching the upper 80's. Breezes will stay gentle, but moisture moving in over these warm temperatures will give us a slight chance of late afternoon and evening thunderstorms. The chance of rain showers will increase through Friday night. Rain is likely all day Saturday, with a possibility of thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening. Highs will be cooling into the mid 70's. Showers will taper off Sunday morning and highs will be around 70.  A chance of showers will return Monday and taper off Tuesday. Highs will get back to the mid 70's under mostly sunny skies by the middle of the week.
