Cooler temperatures coming next week

Happy Monday, Central Oregon!

We are still feeling lingering effects from the wildfires burning in our state. Hazy skies will be sticking with us through Monday evening at least.

However, that will improve as Monday rolls on until the smoke is clear.

La Pine will have forecast lows either at or below freezing all workweek, giving people in that area a chance to wake up to widespread frost every day.

After topping out in the low 80s Tuesday and Wednesday, we are expecting a massive cooldown on the High Desert.

Our high temperatures should drop into the 60s Friday and Saturday, and then into the 50s on Sunday.

We also have about a 30% chance at seeing showers next Saturday, with a 45% chance for showers Sunday.
