Chance of snow Friday, dry Saturday

Happy Thursday everyone!

We are still under the influence of a large upper level trough over the western United States.  This is bringing a couple more inches of snow in the mountains.

By Friday afternoon, the upper trough is moving southeast of our area. This will result in some dry and cool conditions.

Temperatures were a few degrees cooler than yesterday and a bit below our average for February. We could see more isolated snow showers.

Tonight we’ll be seeing more freezing temperatures in the 20s to low 30s.

We can expect more snowfall in the early morning hours of Friday. Snow accumulations will be light in our region.

Temperatures will be ranging from the low 30s to mid 40s across Central Oregon.

We should be drying up on Saturday. We can also look forward to some sunny conditions that day!
