Cooler than normal pattern ending, along with the snow and rain

There is still a Winter Weather Advisory in place for Western Deschutes and Jefferson Counties until 11pm tonight as a few more inches of snow will be possible above 4500 feet. Models indicate this to be the last in the line of snowy days for a while.

Tomorrow looks like the last in the line of below normal temperatures (except Friday when we did hit the middle 60s). We have been at or below normal ten of the last eleven days, not counting today. Tuesday will be chilly again, but Wednesday will start a string of warmer than normal weather.

Tuesday will still be impacted by a cooler than normal pattern as temperatures will rise only into the low 50s. There is a chance for some light snow and rain tonight, but after midnight I expect to see a clearing scenario.  The winds will be brisk through the passes, and from the Northwest, so the chilly air remains Tuesday under mostly sunny skies.

Wednesday begins the warm up as the mercury in the thermometer will rise into the upper 50s and low 60s under sunny skies.  This will be the start of a warm up that will continue each day through the week.

Thursday we are forecast to hit the 70s and Saturday we are expected to reach the low 80s. For those that enjoy the cooler than normal air, the run is about to come to a close. For those that have been waiting on Spring temperatures to arrive, you are about to see them this week.
