Temperatures continue to warm up

Happy Thursday Central Oregon!

The warming trend continues as temperatures are expected to reach the 60s to 70s. It will remain on the sunny side for the rest of the day.

Today firefighters plan to conduct prescribed burn operations on up to 269 acres approx. one and a half miles west of Sunriver along Forest Service Road 41 near the access for Besson Day Use Area.

You may see smoke from Sunriver, La Pine and Bend. Keep in mind that the air quality will be impacted if you plan on spending time outside.

We'll see clear skies tonight with overnight lows mainly in the 40s.

It's going to start feeling like summer on Friday as highs will reach the 80s. Temperatures will peak on Saturday as the upper level ridge continues to amplify.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
