Still sunny, cooling down from weekend

Good morning and happy Monday!

I hope you're enjoying the sunny and dry weather because it's not going away. It looks like we have another beautiful day ahead of us.

We are experiencing a slight cool down from our weekend temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 60s to 70s today across the region.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer tomorrow and continue to rise a few degrees on Wednesday.

You may see or smell some smoke today. Firefighters are conducting prescribed burns today approximately 10 miles south of Sisters, and another one 10 miles south of Bend and 5 miles east of Sunriver.

They encourage those in the Plainview or Sisters area to keep their doors and windows closed. Those who live in Sunriver or south Bend may also experience smoke impacts.

Wind gusts will reach over 20 mph in areas including Warm Springs and Prineville.

The lows for tonight will be staying above freezing ranging from the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
