Slightly warmer, winds calming down

Good morning Central Oregon!

You may have been able to see the Flower Moon last night and will be visible this morning. It reaches peak illumination at 6:53am. The next time we'll be able to see something like this will be June's Strawberry Moon.

We can expect sunny conditions for the rest of the day with highs mainly in the 60s across the region. Winds are calming down from yesterday becoming light and variable.

We do have some more prescribed burns planned for today. Sunriver, Bend and La Pine may experience smoke impacts.

Tonight will be mainly clear and cool with lows in the 40s except 30s in the mountains.

Friday will be similar to today temperature-wise but it should be partly sunny.

High temperatures on Sunday will be close to normal in the low to mid 70s. We have a nice Memorial Day ahead with above normal temperatures in the low to mid 80s.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
