Warm today, dry & mild weekend

Happy Friday!

It's going to be a warm day on the High Desert with highs near 80. We can look forward to a pleasant and dry pattern as we move into the weekend.

We're waking up with a lot less smoke and improved air quality compared to yesterday!

Heads up.. Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District firefighters plan to conduct prescribed burn operations four miles west of Bend around 10am.  Smoke will be visible from Bend and the surrounding area.

Overnight lows will drop into the 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow will be mild and dry as well, just not a warm. Expect highs in the middle 70s under mostly sunny skies. We'll see an increase in clouds on Sunday which will lower and thicken in the evening.

There chances for precipitation on Monday. With the rain showers and clouds, it should feel much cooler.
