Feeling like summer with warmer temps

Good morning!

Expect to see temperatures in the middle 80s today. Definitely feeling like summer!

The early season warm up is due to a large ridge of high pressure over the western part of the US. Many parts of California, Arizona and Nevada are experiencing a multiple day excessive heat warning. Some cities could see temperatures rise over 110 degrees.

Tonight temperatures are dropping into the 50s under clear skies. High temperatures will peak on Friday as we hit the 90s.

The heat and moisture in the area may allow for a few pop-up storms to develop on Saturday. Despite that, conditions are looking pretty quiet. Winds have calmed down quite a bit.

We'll continue to see warmer temperatures as we head into the beginning of next week.
