Temps cool down today, warmer on Friday

Good morning!

Expect breezy and seasonably cool conditions today, with high temperatures reaching the low 70s. Starting tomorrow, temperatures will steadily warm up through the beginning of the weekend.

The breezy conditions yesterday have allowed the Darlene 3 Fire to spread eastward over the past several hours. As of this morning, it has expanded over 2600 acres and is only 30% contained. Good news is that there are no watches or warnings in place at this time.

Skies will be cloudy to partly cloudy then clear in the evening. Tonight our lows will drop down into the 30s and 40s across the region.

There are some lingering showers today. Precipitation should taper off in the eastern mountains by this morning but continue across the Cascade crests through the afternoon.

We'll warm up into the 80s tomorrow and should remain there through the rest of the weekend and into early next week.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
