One more chilly day before mild temps make a return

A shift from northwest to north flow will allow colder arctic air to move into the region tonight and Monday. This will bring the coldest temperatures overnight, with most areas dropping to the teens & single digits.

Patchy freezing fog could also develop tonight through tomorrow morning.

Sunny skies are expected for MLK Day tomorrow, with highs topping out in the 30s.

We’ll see warmer temperatures on Tuesday when the flow of cold air moves west, bringing highs back to the mid 40s. Some areas will be reaching nearly 50 degrees by Thursday.

A ridge of high pressure over the Pacific Northwest has been keeping us dry for the past several days. There’s a slight chance for wet weather to move in by the end of the week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
