A Gorgeous Spring Weekend for Central Oregon

KTVZ-TV

It is a beautiful Saturday across the high desert, and if you have outdoor plans, the weather is certainly cooperating! Whether you are in Bend, Redmond, Madras, or Prineville, we are looking at a fantastic stretch of spring weather to kick off the weekend.

Tonight’s Outlook

As the sun sets this evening, expect mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. It will be a crisp night with lows dipping into the upper 30s and lower 40s. With light winds across the region, it’s a perfect night for a light jacket if you're heading out.

A Warm Sunday Ahead

Tomorrow looks even better for those craving some sunshine and warmth. We will see mostly cloudy skies, but don’t let that fool you—temperatures are climbing!

  • Highs: Lower to mid 70s.
  • Wind: Light in the morning, with some northeast breezes around 10 mph (and gusts up to 20 mph) kicking up in the afternoon.

In the Cascades

If you are heading toward Sisters, Sunriver, or Camp Sherman, expect slightly cooler but very pleasant conditions. Highs will reach the 60s under mostly cloudy skies. It’s great weather for a hike or a walk, though you might notice some evening gusts near the slopes.

Looking Toward Monday

The warming trend continues into the start of the work week, with Monday potentially being the warmest day of the stretch, reaching the high 70s. We do have some rain chances returning by Tuesday, so make sure to get out and enjoy this dry, mild weekend while it's here!
