Patchy smoke today, more clouds Monday

Central Oregon will round out the weekend with sunshine, warm temperatures and areas of patchy smoke before more clouds move in tonight.

Bend, Redmond, Madras and Prineville will see highs in the mid to upper 80s Sunday, with north winds around 5 to 10 mph. Patchy smoke will remain possible through the afternoon.

Cloud cover increases tonight, with mostly cloudy skies and lows falling into the 50s. Patchy smoke will continue in parts of the region, while north winds around 5 to 10 mph could gust near 20 mph during the evening before becoming light overnight.

Monday brings more cloud cover across Central Oregon, with patchy smoke remaining possible. Highs will again reach the mid to upper 80s around Bend, Redmond, Madras and Prineville.

Along the east slopes of the Cascades, including Sisters, Sunriver and La Pine, temperatures will be cooler overall. Highs Sunday and Monday will generally range from the lower 70s to lower 80s, with some areas reaching the lower to mid 80s.

Skies clear Tuesday, with temperatures warming into the upper 80s to lower 90s across portions of Central Oregon. Partly cloudy conditions are expected at times through the middle of the week.

A slight chance for showers enters the forecast late in the week. A 20% chance of rain showers is in the forecast Friday and Saturday, while temperatures trend cooler heading into next weekend.
