Above-average warmth through Saturday, cooler weather returns Sunday

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Good morning, everyone!

Showers will stay well north of Central Oregon today. We’re starting with cloudy skies, but some sunshine should break through this afternoon.

Highs will reach the upper 50s and low 60s, keeping temperatures above normal for this time of year.

Dry weather continues into the evening for First Friday festivities! Bring a jacket if you’re heading out, as temperatures drop from the 50s into the 40s.

Saturday will be the warmest day of the week, with highs in the upper 60s. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine, with comfortable temperatures for outdoor plans.

A cold front moves through Saturday night into Sunday, bringing breezy winds, a chance of showers and cooler highs in the 50s. Most of the moisture will stay in the Cascades, with just a few light showers possible across the High Desert.

Looking ahead to next week, highs will range from the mid 50s to low 60s.

I do think some showers are a possibility, but most of the wet weather will stay in western Oregon and through the Cascades with multiple systems pushing through.

Have a great weekend!
