Shepherd’s House seeks help amid heavy snow
With the onslaught of snow and cold weather, Shepherd’s House Ministries is helping more people than ever, and badly needs your help, the Bend shelter said Saturday.
Here’s the rest of their announcement:
“Just last night, we housed and fed 122 overnight guests in our five locations and are anticipating the same for the foreseeable future.
“Serving the needy at this level is more than we have ever done in the past, and honestly, we are having a hard time keeping up. We will continue to help any person for any reason who walks through our doors, but at this point, we really need the help of our community.
“The most critical need is monetary donations, as we are serving more people now than ever before in our history. Other needs include hand warmers, thermal underwear, hats, and gloves. Your help is greatly appreciated as we continue to love people well and meet their most basic needs. ”
