Nice Thursday ahead

-GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

Partly cloudy skies and patchy freezing fog started our day, and after the fog dissipates we will be left under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the low to mid 40's and any breezes will be gentle out of the south and SE.

Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight. Lows will dip into the 20's and SE breezes will be fairly gentle at 5-10 mph.

The clouds that we see thicken through the day and into tonight are the leading edge of a system that will continue to advance on the West Coast. That will put us under cloudy skies Friday with a likelihood of rain showers starting in the late afternoon. Southerly winds will also pick up to 10-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

The heaviest rain is expected late Friday and Friday night. Highs will be in the mid 40's and overnight lows will dip to freezing and a little below. This will allow rain showers to turn to snow, especially at the upper elevations.

A 30% chance of rain will stay with us through Saturday and Saturday night. Highs will be in the upper 40's, with lows dropping to freezing and a bit below.

Showers will taper off Sunday morning, leaving us under partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 40's. That clearing will continue and we will start the new week with sunny skies and highs in the mid 40's. More clouds will build in Tuesday night and that will leave us with a chance of showers going through the middle of the week.
