C.O resident assisting in FEMA-supported Peace Corps service

BEND, OR (KTVZ) --Patricia Smith, a student success coordinator at the Redmond Proficiency Academy, is currently on a special three-month domestic deployment in New Jersey with the Peace Corps Response program, helping at a community vaccination clinic. It's only the second such FEMA-supported U.S. deployment -- the first was after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
