New Bend restaurant to assist Healthy Beginnings

Craft Kitchen and Brewery will be opening their doors on Saturday, June 13 th . With farm to table foods blended with southern flavors, this small batch, family friendly brewery is going to be the go to place to celebrate summer with your family.

During their opening month, Craft Kitchen and Brewery will be donating all proceeds from their kids menus to a local nonprofit, Healthy Beginnings. The finale of the charity partnership will culminate on June 27 th with a percentage of selected beer sales going to help kids and Healthy Beginnings.

What better way to celebrate the beginning of summer than by supporting two local organizations that are making Bend a better place to live! Craft Kitchen and Brewery’s address is 803 SW Industrial Way #202.

“We are thrilled to partner with Craft Kitchen and Brewery in this unique campaign,” explains Holly Remer the program’s Executive Director. “It is businesses like Craft Kitchen and Brewery that help us reach and serve more children and the dollars donated will support screening efforts throughout our region, improving the lives of hundreds of children and families.”

Healthy Beginnings, a unique program available only in Central Oregon, works to assure parents that their children are developing appropriately or, if needed, to make referrals for in-depth evaluation and treatment.

Parenting information and community resources are provided free as well. Every family attending a Healthy Beginnings screening receives extensive information on the heath and development of their child.
