Summer meals program set for Redmond schools
Redmond School District has announced its free Summer Meals Program schedule for the summer of 2015.
The program allows children who are 18 years of age and under to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no charge. No registration is required to participate.
The Redmond School District participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program to provide meals at seven locations in the community throughout the summer months:
American Legion Park (Breakfast & Lunch)
1379 SW 15th Street
Dates: June 15 – August 28 for Lunch | Breakfast begins June 22
Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
Lunch: 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Redmond Boys & Girls Club (Breakfast & Lunch)
1379 SW 15th Street
Dates: June 15 – August 28
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
“Eat. Read. Play.” Hosted by Redmond School District and Deschutes Public Library in Downtown Redmond (Lunch Only)

Dates: June 22 – August 28
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Details: Free to children ages 18 and younger. Children can eat lunch, read books and participate in fun activities. Hosted in partnership with Deschutes Public Library. Activities begin immediately after lunch. Reading activities hosted June 30 through August 13.
Highland Baptist Church (Lunch Only)
3100 SW Highland Ave.
Dates: June 22 – June 26 (During Vacation Bible School Week)
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Ridgeview High School (During Camp 9 Program)

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Monday-Thursday Only
