Reception for Bend Community Development candidates
The city of Bend would like to invite the public to meet the finalists for the Community Development Services Director position. The reception is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, at 4:30 p.m. at Bend City Hall, 710 NW Wall St.
Typically, these events last an hour. The two finalist for the position are Russ Grayson and Chris Robles.
Russell Grayson, PE, currently serves as City Engineer with the City of Bend in the Private Development Engineering department. Grayson has over 20 years of private engineering consulting, land development and municipal development engineering experience at the City of Bend, and the PulteGroup – New Mexico division as Land Development Manager/Director of Land Entitlement and Development, in addition to other professional, private engineering consulting organizations.
Chris Robles is currently employed as the Economic Development Director at the City of Roseville, California while concurrently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Roseville Community Development Corporation (RCDC), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation formed for the specific purpose of providing physical, economic and educational development. Robles has 25 years of professional, municipal experience with previous positions held as Community Development Manager, Senior Planner and Assistant/Associate Planner during his tenure with the City of Roseville.
