KTVZ

Matthew McFarland, general manager of Hoodoo Ski Area, announced via hisMatthew’s Mountain Memothatguests who have unused 2013-14 season passes will be allowed to transfer them to the 2014-15 season.

“Just a reminder to all of our season pass holders: Please don’t forget that we are Hoodoo. We always do things differently here, and we like to believe that is part of the reason you have chosen to ski and ride with us each season. We are committed to taking care of our loyal guests, and as such, anyone who wants to roll their 2013-14 season pass over to the 2014-15 season, consider it done. Obviously, that doesn’t help everyone, but we will make other arrangements after the season gets rolling,” McFarland said.

Thanks to a much-needed blanketing of new snow in the Mid-Cascades over the past few days, Hoodoo Ski Area will open for the first time this season on Friday.

In recognition of the late start, Hoodoo will offer a Late Season Pass to all guests for just $195 (ages 18+) and $99 (ages 6-17). Late Start season passes can be purchased at the Hoodoo eStore at www.hoodoo.com/estore and the Hoodoo ticket office. All other daily lift tickets will be available at the regular season prices, which can be found atwww.hoodoo.com/ticket-rates.

The 2013-14 season pass holders who have not picked up their pass and want to transfer can simply wait until next season to pick up their 2014-15 season pass. Guests who transfer their 2013-14 season pass to next season will need to purchase a Late Start Season Pass or individual daily lift tickets to ski and ride at Hoodoo the rest of this season.

Hoodoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, with three ski lifts running until 4 p.m. and night skiing on select runs from 3:30 – 9 p.m. Hoodoo will also be open 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Sunday, and thenmaintain a Thursday-Sunday schedule until the end of the season ( or until a lot more snow falls).Hoodoo’s popular Autobahn Tubing Park iscurrently closed until more snow falls.
