Grant to help Disability Support Network

At the February program meeting, Meyer Memorial Trust’s trustees awarded $40,000 to Oregon Disability Support Network in Bend for a voice assistive technology program that supports children with communication disorders.

The award was among 44 Grassroots Grants made in February, a program designed for smaller nonprofit organizations.

MMT handed out more than $4 million in 63 grants to nonprofit organizations in Oregon and Clark County, Washington in February.

This award brings the total given to groups in the Central Oregon area to $22.6 million since MMT began operating in 1982.
