Madras, Sisters rodeo queens win Rose Fest honors

2014 Miss Northwest Professional Rodeo Association (NPRA) Kayla Vincent, of Madras, received the first place trophy for state/regional queens in the 2014 Portland Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade held Saturday, June 7 in Portland.

Sara Marcus, 2014 Miss Rodeo Oregon and 2013 Miss NPRA of Sisters took home the second place ribbon. Both young ladies represented the sport of rodeo and Central Oregon well in the parade, the second largest floral parade in the United States.

As 2014 Miss NPRA, Miss Vincent travels throughout the Northwest at various parade, rodeos, and civic events representing the sport of rodeo and the NPRA. The NPRA Finals will be held September 19 and 20 in Prineville, Oregon. Music performance follow the rodeo each night in the arena, with Clay Walker scheduled to appear on Friday night.
