Wyden to hold town halls Saturday in Madras, Prineville

Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said Tuesday he will hold town halls this week in three Oregon counties, including Saturday events in Madras and Prineville..

Following through on his commitment to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties, Senator Wyden will hold a town hall on Friday in Clatsop County and town halls Saturday, Feb. 21 in Jefferson and Crook counties.

“The common thread in each of the 700-plus town halls I’ve held throughout our state is that any Oregonian can ask me any question and talk with me about any issue affecting them,” Wyden said.

“These are discussions the way the Founding Fathers intended,” he said. “And as long as I have the honor to represent Oregonians, these town halls will be the kinds of discussions I will always have with Oregonians.’

Senator Wyden’s town hall schedule for Feb. 20-21 is as follows:

CLATSOP COUNTY: 10:30 am, Friday, Feb. 20, Astoria High School, 1001 West Marine Drive, Astoria

JEFFERSON COUNTY: 11:30 am, Saturday, Feb,. 21, Madras City Hall, 71 Southeast D St., Madras

CROOK COUNTY: 3:30pm, Saturday, Feb. 21, Central Oregon Community College’s Crook County Open Campus Building, 510 SE Lynn Blvd., Prineville
