KTVZ

Fire destroyed a 30-foot travel trailer Friday afternoon at a northeast Prineville trailer park, Crook County fire officials said.

Crook County Fire and Rescue responded to the fire on Northeast Third Street around 3:30 p.m., the agency reported.

One engine, ambulance and water tender accompanied five firefighters who found the RV engulfed in flames.

Crews quickly controled the fire, while also working to protect partially burned power lines, trees and nearby mobile homes, officials said.

A man living in the trailer was believed to be cooking inside when the fire occurred. Fire officials said he was taken into custody by police, though they had no further information.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
