Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon, happy Sunday!

Cold, foggy and even a few snow flurries across the High Desert today.

We are looking at the freezing fog sticking around overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning as well.

Things could be very slick and frosty to start the work week with temperatures overnight dropping down into the teens and even the single digits in some spots.

It looks like we will see that freezing fog last throughout much of our Monday as well, but it should burn off in the afternoon in some areas.

With that fog temperatures will stay very cold, making it difficult for things to warm up.

We will top out in the low to mid 20s for our Monday.

We are seeing temperatures well below average for this time of year, as 50 is the daytime average for this time of the year.

We will continue with the cold temperatures throughout the week, with highs in the 20s to 30s.

There is a good chance that we will see snow showers start to develop by Wednesday, but at this point, we are only looking at a couple inches of fresh snow.

Things look to dry out by the weekend, with partly sunny skies but we are staying cold.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Central Oregon!
