Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Rain showers will stick around through the end of the night. Expect shower chances to taper off around midnight. Overnight lows will be chilly, but slightly above normal for this time of year. Areas like La Pine and Sunriver will see lows dip into the 30s, while the rest of Central Oregon should stay in the low to mid 40s. Partly cloudy skies are going to be overhead in the morning.
Tuesday sees increasing clouds throughout the day and an increasing chance for rain showers again by the afternoon. We’ll see scattered showers across the Cascades first, and then they’ll spill into Central Oregon. Highs will be cool for this time of the year in the mid to upper 60s. Our average daytime high is 79 degrees. Winds will be breezy at times gusting 20 miles per hour.
Clouds will break up gradually overnight into Wednesday. We’ll wake up to more blue sky on Wednesday and will see more sunshine throughout the day. Mostly sunny skies will be overhead by the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, so a little warmer than where we’ll be for Tuesday.
Thursday looks to be one of our warmer days on the extended forecast with highs around average in the upper 70s and lower 80s. We’ll stay dry and mild through Saturday. Winds will be breezy at times Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sunday will be breezy as well, and noticeably cooler. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. We’ll also see some rain showers.
